Them things didn't stink when I was in the lockup. But I think its a fool idea to try to rig one up for yer sleeper.

Sorry, but to my mind, I always have time and the ability to stop and use the bathroom. Rather than lug around the weight of the fixtures, the clean water tank, drain hoses, and the waste tank, then go through the hassle of handling the waste at dump stations, refilling the water tank, and keeping both of them from freezing up in the wintertime when I am in the house and the truck is parked, I think I'll just make a quick stop, use the facilities, and then get back on my way.

You live in Georgia for craps sake. One of the few states in the union where indoor plumbing is not yet in vogue, and everyone has to go outside in the night anyhow to get to the little room with the crescent moon on the door. if you have indoor plumbing in a truck down there, you stand a better than 50% chance of being burned at the stake for heresy, voodoo, and witchcraft.

And before you attack me on this, be forewarned that I am a former Georgia resident and know that of which I speak!!!!! LOL!

Sometimes a fellow comes up with a deal in his head to do a project and has not thought it all out good yet. Freezing water is a problem but you could use antifreeze. That blue portopottie stuff would be a pain to get rid of but you'd need it to keep the smell down even if it was just pee but if you went to the trouble you'd want to be able to drop a #2 as well but like you say, just stop and go somewhere. As for just having to pee, the bottle is fine for that as long as you don't be a jerk and throw it out on the exit ramp or WORSE. My concept is nice but tons of trouble trying to engineer the thing and maybe not worth it and not sure what it would do to resale.

Bottom line- NOT WORTH IT- BURKY thought it out and his points was dead on. As for others, y'all's points were to be thought out to- NASTY IS NASTY and who wants to sleep in a men's room- might be like a #### Amoco Station and who wants that??????

The weight would be a waist as well!!!

I'll think of something else that might help.

I doubt that they still exist, but I remember reading in Popular Mechanics years back of a sanitary system for RV's that parceled out the contents of the holding tank into the exhaust system while driving and disposed of it by burning it off that way. Never saw one in operation, and I am sure it was really fragrant while running. I don't think it would work with an upright exhaust, and I am sure that cleaning burnt used toilet paper out of your muffler is no treat for the service guy.

I don't know if you was funnin me or not, Burky but that thing sounds real complicated. Would't you have to dry the stuff before burning it and it would have to be injected close to the engine to be hot enough to get a good burn- also,l wouldn't their be shiit ash to deal with? I'd think the Dot man would get EPA guys with suits adn first thing you know, you'd be in a Fed Pen for some tree hugger offense and they'd bankrupt you.
