How does a random car stop you and how do they provide you proper ID? Do they hold it out the window and scream "Pull over"?

Yeah, all over tankers too. 1-800-AM-I-SAFE and has a code number like AF-9686 on the unit....... not a problem, carry some sized stick on's and change the AF to AE or 6's to 8's and you change the whole carrier. Or you can carry spray paint and cover part of it like a recruiting sign on the back of JB etc.

I am a professional and I expected to be trusted, I will not be watched like this or have a camera in the truck. CADEC was bad enough and is my line of tollerance for carrier crap.

Oh, and shame on me for pulling over with hazmat ( unless it's the law ) after 9-11. I'm supposed to call the cops and keep rolling. That's what happened to tire checks, didn't want us stopped anywhere..... blah, blah, blah.

I shouldn't try to 'read between the lines" in instances such as these.

My first thought is, who pays? Whoever is providing the service can't be doing it for FREE, nothing in the trucking world is free...............

    So who and for what.................???????????????????

This is the rest of the answer, I think:

    http://www.ismydrivingsafe.com/GPS/index.htm

Its a Fleet Tracking Company, suggesting that they would like to provide Fleet Tracking Services to your company and maybe and
IsMyDrivingSafe.com was formed to promote safe driving and public awareness for safety in general. We believe our systems and processes will help drivers "Turn the Corner for Safer Roads".
CSA2010 is providing enough Safer Roads for me, thanks anyway. I don't need someone else doing the same thing...
    Just my thought. Whats yours?

    .

Frankly, I need less Government in my world and I don't think I need any more Company Tracking to go along with what they already track.

I also thought this had something to do with these postings too:

    Probably not..................

Man, you can really tell we are in hard economic times when someone can dream up a business to go snooping on drivers for various companies. Well, gotta give 'em credit, they developed a deal they could sell to companies that would shell out the money. Not quite sure how they would get me stopped and consent to anything. If you are not an official law enforcement person, I am heading on down the road. Regardless of any "carrots" they may dangle in front of me like Walmart gift cards and such. And as was stated already, it won't take long for some enterprising thieves to take advantage of this as well.

As for monitoring my speed and such, no problem. Since I pay for the fuel, I generally don't run that fast, even though it taps out at 90 mph. It would be boring tailing me around.
