  1. Reagarding the deadhead on kraft, EricE has been giving it to us pretty much each time it goes over 300 miles.
Tend to get the deadhead surcharge on loads in the west.
So does anyone know what happened to Milt?seems to be a lot of shuffling around at WVC.
I'm running 3000+. Weekly solo. The key is your fuel being l/o-knock on wood, no negative checks 6 months in. I do have wife on truck which helps, routing, qualcomm, etc.
I do know you have to check your settlement over weekly, payroll is good about making corrections.

Ok, my question? Observation is why are so many drivers out there so grumpy?
Especially flat beds. Pissy attitudes and nasty dispositions.
Just seems like a little common courtesy is a good thing!

sometimes reading these questions is like being in high school the teacher gives you a reading assignmet and the next day someone comes to class asking 50 questions that they would have the answer to had they did the reading...Sorry folks i was just having a moment

if you had to chain, strap and tarp loads in 100 degree weather, cold cold weather in the rain. and then untarp unstrap.unchain and fold tarps.... i would beleive you would be a little grumpy and pissy also. also riding around in a mid roof truck with no head room like the majority of flat bedders do would drive me over the edge i like the headroom when i stand up.like they say FLATBEDDIN THE HARDEST JOB IN TRUCKIN'..........

He was acting strange since the middle of July. Until then he'd have me preset before I was at my 99. After that it seemed I had to beg every load off him.. Kept telling me Chris is working on it.. Hardly ever responded to qualm question and barely answered his phone..

every flatbedder i have ever talked to has been nothing but friendly.. Now them container haulers are a different story..

    marlowhy Thanks this.
  9. Wow, now Eric has someone else answering qc!
Hmmm, and squirrelly loads this week.

See, I just made a general assumption about flatbedders-
My mistake! Come to think about it, I'm kinda grumpy right now!!
Oh well, on to Columbus, oh.
