Thermo King temp display screen is blank

    I have an 02 TK SB III. When I put the switch on the ON position to start the engine, the display screen is blank and there is no buzzing sound. I manually crank the engine, it turns without a problem but it doesn't stay on.. I checked the fuse box compartment and they look ok, as well as the cables coming to and from the battery.. I give up, Please help!!! Thanks

    Did you actually test each fuse? Those boards can also be tempermental. Sometimes a small sodder can break loose but if your good with a sodder iron it can possibly be repaired. Check all fuses with a test light first if you have'nt already.

    A friend of mine had somewhat the same problem but his would sometimes turn on then he would just keep it on.. He had it checked and the board was cracked so he had it replaced. They can be repaired.. Has yours been acting up, or did it just not turn on??

    Yes, no display, sounds like the board. If you get a screen, check for faults and reset.
