Thanks to all that answered newbietruckerwife78's questions I appriecate it. I'm just gonna hang in there untill I get my cdl then try for a new trainer for my 30000 . My instructor has fallen asleep 3 times on me (all in the passenger seat) 2 times at night 1 time during the day. My lady explained the rest. As to the driving to alaska I tried to tell her that nobody drives the alcan but she still asked. Raised in the big AK (anchorage) from '76 to '10. Again, thanks to all that helped.

No try about it. Tell them you are not compatible w/ the guy you have now, and want a different trainer. They will get you one.

Exactly... Just tell your FM that you need someone new, explain to him whats going on and go from there.

They also need to know the qualities of each trainer. Some are good, some not so much. Do not hold the info! :)

I've run across a number of women trainers here. Most gals prefer to run solo...

Theirs quite a few women trainers but they get gobbled up pretty quick by women.

Trucking is a primarily male industry, so their will always be many more males in the industry as opposed to women. Not to mention training is not exactly the most pleasant experience. Most people don't want to deal with the hassle of a driver they are unsure of, having to run team, and the fact you have to sleep while the truck is moving.
