Sound like a valve issue. Check the plunger that goes thru the firewall into the main valve. Thats if your has that setup. I just had to take mine apart last week and clean it up cause it was sticky and hard to push, brake light were also sticking on.

Just to clarify, this happens when your hooked to a trailer, correct?

Update. A buddy of mine works for the city on fire engines doing about everything (brakes to). We checked out everything mentioned (well he did-I worked the brake pedal) LOL. Didn't find anything wrong on the front or rears. The pedal gets hard and feels as tho it has back PSI on it so we/he thinks it's the brake valve (trudder valve) coming off the fire wall, where all your air lines go into this valve.. Mentioned by another in the last post. As always it's a guess.

I sure will. I took it freightliner a couple of hours ago. I'm sick of working on it.. They think it's the plunger going into the brake valve, it might be sticking. I'll be updating tomorrow. LES 2 May be the winner!!

Freightliner just called. It was the brake valve on the outside fire wall. It's the large valve where all your air lines go into on the fire wall on the drivers side. The brake punger was okay. This is a century 2007.

Thanks for all your help. Bill

This is true! LOL. I took one in the you know what. $714.00 in labor and the part was $95.00.. I almost had it myself but a couple of the bolts was messed up and I couldn't get them out which ended up with me putting it back together and taking it to the robbers. (FREIGHTLINER) I try to stay away from them as much as possible but sometimes you have to give in. They got me for $1,150.00 just two weeks ago on a different matter. I guess I better get to trucking!!LOL!
