We use some on a dedicated fleet out of northern CA. I believe they run them up to WA but I can't say that for sure.
Regardless of the sign, how can you not tell that's too low? Even when the sign tells me it's ok I still second guess at times.

Steering wheel holder syndrome. I do this everyday in NYC even under bridges I know I can clear and I do it under a daily basis. Slow before, 4 ways, dump air and creep under. I dont care about traffic, they can wait.
Its such a pain in the ### for me, as Ill get sent on routes for the first time, then Ill see clearance as 12ft when I have a 13'6 trailer and I immediately #### my pants. So I just go slow as usual.
Cant fix stupid with trucking school or even a trainer. -
Loveland, East of I-29, within the past week. This guy was trying to make his own detour.

I go under a 11'10" all the time......but in the middle it's 13'10"
I see trucks making a u turn on occasion
Too bad they didn't have their cb on. I could have told them to drive down the middle

That is beyond being a dumb arse!
I bet the driver crapped himself when the top of the cab came crushing in......What an idiot! -
Some of the older arched bridges are miss leading . Greensboro has one thats 13'10 centerline but 10'4 sidelines . Used to go throu it 4 or 5 times a day . But LOTS of guys totaled trailers following me , cb on just did not listen !?! Off 5 in and you ripp trailer to he77 !

Same type of bridge in southeast PA., somewhere around Quarryville I think. I sat there for 45 min. and was going to turnaround, when two trucks came from the other side. They told me to go right down the center. Lucky it was midnight also.
Had a good laugh the next day, but it was a long way around on the map for another truck route. -
I heard if you cover the top of your trailer in butter you can make it under any bridge no matter how low.

Might have made it through if they were in a lower gear!
Maybe next time.
