Indian River Transport, Co. - Winter Haven, FL.?

Called in this morning was told everything was covered for the day,then he said hang on and gave me another drivers load picking up in laurel,md going to walton,ny. In laurel now been here 7hrs having a problem with one of their silos that of course has my load in it, also asked if they had a load out of hancock going to wi so that's wwhat I'm preplanned for on monday.

 

Can you explain dodging tolls?? When they pay them!!!

 

A driver should not have to pay anything out of his pocket and then have to sit and wait to be reimbursed. Especially when you still haven't received your pay check for the week.

Maybe if the trucking companies paid the drivers a decent wage, and paid them on time, and paid them for ALL of the time wasted sitting around, the driver would have money for things like tolls? If the driver isn't making any money to survive on, the driver sure isn't going to be paying for anything like tolls.

 

I'm not arguing with you guys about tolls they pay them enough said.

 

Unloaded this morning in walton,ny pulled outta the bay... Preplan was cancelled and I was given a load that picks up in nj going to mass, I call jim and say what's the deal he says "I'm not sure darren came in this morning" I say "jim that's all you had to say its darren screwing me again". He tells me he will call me back, an hour went by I grabbed the. Comp and said no to the load and sent a msg saying stop screwing me over and give me some miles!! They got me deadheading to the tankwash/stripclub in iona mich.

 

Yeah, I don't know what it is with Darren he had me running back and forth between Johanna and Port of Newark. Couple of drivers said that paid $80, I didn't get that and only got paid the miles.

 

Darren is a #######, and yea that load pays 80 something

 

There is nothing like sittin the break room of the tank wash and having a tall skinny blonde walk through see through top big cans, mini skirt hiked up so you can see her #### lol.
