Schneider Western 11 - My Orientation Begins 8-3!

I passed my last test today!!!Starting Monday I am going to meet my DBL and get on the road...

 

Actually....i have often wondered what it would be like to be a woman. I know one thing...if i WERE a woman...i would be SUCH a slut! :/

 

I have finished my three weeks on the road and now I am home for a week. The road isn't anything like thw yard training. The real training for me was the first week. I was a nervous reck the first week. Then I started getting used to all surprises of the road world...)))) From bad roads to getting lost in an unfamiliar city due to qualcomm failure.

 

Pumaman, Let me know how it works out with being and trucker and a runner. I too am a middle aged runner and hope to retire from my desk job in a few years and go trucking. It would be great to be able to both drive and run during the hours off. Good luck to you.

 

I am about to follow you to Schieder, I think. Please make a post and give us your summary for your first month.... I am also a "retread" in my fifties (retread= Carcass is still good, just needs some new rubber (training) for traction!!

 

It is not an easy job. If you have a choice to pick something else, pick it. However, I did an extensive research on companies prior joining the company and Schneider kept comming up on top. If trucking is the only available thing for you at the moment, then Schneider is the obvious choice.
