    Yeah but there are people out there low enough to steal the straps that are actually securing your load.

    I have never seen or heard of that happening....Except at the counter at a truckstop. But as we all know, everything that "those" guys say is BS!:biggrin_2559:

    Heard rumors about it but never heard anyone actually say it happened to them. It really wouldnt surprise me. Im actually surprised it doesnt happen, since thieves will steal anything they can make a buck off of to support their drug habit.

    They would make too much noise taking the stuff off of a load...If the driver was sleeping in the truck, They'd be dead before the first chain hit the ground.

    Chains probably...Straps would be much quiet hitting the ground....If the driver was sleeping and idling he probably wouldnt hear it...And if he did he might just chalk it up to regular truck stop noise.

    I've had some tarp straps stolen, but never chains, binders, tarps, etc.

    Ive never had any my my equipment stolen but my company did have a entire loaded truck and trailer stolen a couple months while the driver was sleeping in a hotel.

    never had anything stolen, and i don't think anyone could get my load un secured while i was sleeping maybe but i doubt it
