Income requirement for Stevens

Hate to say it. Wife and I are getting by with only $576 a month. Times are tough.

Here again our house is paid for as is most of the stuff we own. Yup we eat alot of pasta.

 

Your house being paid off helps. If you had a rent/mortage payment there would have been no way you two were gonna make it on 576 a month. For someone to be independent and live comfortably, you need to make at least 3,000 a month.

 

here is a word of advice for anyone making close to that a year and even double that a year.
GO to a community college and enrol in some classes full time. Apply for FAFSA and get your self some free some for going to school and they will also give you money to live off of if you get good grades the whole time. FREE as can be. My neighbor who is a complete loser/alcoholic cleaned himself up enough and quit sucking his girlfriend dry and decided to go back to school. He has been living off of student aid money and grants for the last two years. Sure he don't own anything and he takes the bus, but he is getting his education, food money and bill money for FREE! BTW he is 47 years old and also a recovery meth addict. IF he can do that and laugh at guys working for 30k a year the something is wrong with what your doing if all you make is 10k a year or 20k a year. Says he's been living in Mexico City, I don't know anyone in Mexico making $10,000 year besides the drug dealers. If they could make more, they wouln't be crossing the border by the 1000's.

 

Did you miss the part where the OP was living in Mexico City for the past 3 years. 10k/yr down there is a lot of money.

 

Yah; they say they are coming here for jobs.....yet all our jobs seem to be going to Mexico.
I think they want to actually run away from work---only makes sence.

 

may be they are running from the drug cartells that are leaving severed heads outside of elementary schools.

 

Well I don't see what making $10k yr has to do with stability.

The amount of $$ you make doesn't make stable employment history, length of time at current employer shows whether you have stable employment or not.
