I tried looking down that road, and they just will not hire someone without seat time. They claim it is their INS company.

 

nope they have not started yet as i have not been given a truck yet...but the expenses of living are still adding up....waiting on truck with no income, i have made phone calls and it seems nothing anyone can do right now...or so i'm told

 

Just got hired with US Xpress.....Wish me luck!!!

Dropped my Canada load in the Detroit yard this early morning, picked up empty and ran over to NYX to pick up next load... Delivered that load in Hammand, IN and deadheaded to the Markem terminal where I sit now waiting for Chineese...

Start Training Class tomorrow morning at 08:00 so I can train my friend Renegade and get him trucking....

 

Thanks Sheepdog. I think its great that you have volunteered help HD finish off his training. He presents himself as having an uncompromising desire to be a safe and efficient driver. I think the company is fortunate to have both of you and I suspect the two of you will have a gas (well... not literally I hope!!) working together.

I read your thread in the TMC section, I'm envious of you for going through their flatbed training program - it looks extremely thorough and comprehensive. Those shining black and chrome Pete 379's with the gold lettering look mighty sharp too!! Is that your TMC truck in your avatar?

Getting loaded with some whiskey barrels headed to Canada. I will be dropping them off in upstate NY.

Yesterday they kept switching loads on me. I ended up picking up at 0800 instead of 1200 like I had planned. Didn't get much sleep the night before. Spent last night in the middle of the Hagerstown Pilot parking lot. That place was full up by 1800.
