@ Saienga, you man, i've driven nothing but junk my whole life so i've never experienced breaking in a new ride... but good truck, i like it better then the previous KW's... the only gripe i have is the governer being at 15 RPM.. maybe that has to do with the way the truck is geared..

@Matt, appreciate it, hopefully yours will be coming soon, hell there's a newer open KW sitting on the yard now with probably no more than 110K on it....

 

Anybody got any tips on a two day Vegas, Hoover Dam, South Rim, Lake Powell, North Rim, Vegas loop?

 

Is this a serious question or one of those "ha ha ha I am on vacation and you are stuck working" kind of questions?

I did enjoy Hoover Dam when we went couple years back .

Equal parts of both in My initial post. But now I'm going to embellish. Right now I'm trying to preplan dinner in Page/Lake Powell. So I'm taking suggestions. South rim was amazing. We managed to jam it in from 1600 to sunset at 1800. kinda bummed we're making the trek to Page in the dark and missing the scenery but oh well. We did the drive through tour of the Hoover Dam this morning, which was also incredible, and will take a closer look tomorrow or Thursday.

 

it was nice out there last week too... its a nice day out here in the east, 59 with light blue skies and a little wind but a beautiful day... Have you had to dance around those Missouri River Crossings Closings yet??

 

yeah a little... i think it had something to do with a regen idk... but it went away... this morning at 3K i got my first passive regen... yay!!!! but yeah that smell that concerned me has worn off...
