Flatbedders......

Have only had fuel taken while out on the road.

Now in the terminals....anything on the truck was fair game it seems.

Have had lumber, tarps ( once every one of them) chains, binders, bungees, a ladder, spare tire and a bunch of stuff I can't remember right now.

All at company terminals.

Nothing inside the truck was ever touched.

 

I'v never had anything taken off a truck or trailer on the road. I have had tarps, bungees and antenna's taken at the yard.

Firebird must be parking in Gary, IN to loss all that. LOL

someone stole all the straps, pipe stakes, and one binder bar from all 3 of our flatbeds while parked in our company yard

however, if I ever catch the $%#&^%# who tried to steal my tire chains last night, the cops won't be able to identify the body, if they recover it.

 

I had a toolbox on the trailor broken into, two 6 foot drop tarps stolen. Hope they enjoyed the holy rags, I had just ordered two new ones. Knew a guy who parked somewhere around his home in Benbrook Tx who had some lowlife take an axe to his headache, chopped into it, got all his chains and binders.

 

i had a car on a 32ft gooseneak flat bed parked at a truckstop off i-15 in montana woke up in the morning and the straps off the car were stolen.

 

wow what is the world coming to

 

Heck, these days some of these low-lifes would steal Christ off the cross and come back for the nails.

 

Not yet but it does worry me. Hence why I just lined up and indoor storage parking area for the weekends.
