#### they run me pretty good! After I deliver Friday in Houston, I'll have approx 3100 miles in 6 days which is not bad at all.
-
Yeah. That short one fell thru. I was supposed to pickup at 10a.m. 100 miles from where I was unloading. And at 10a.m. I was STILL getting unloaded. (since 6a.m.) so they took it off me and IMMEDIATELY after I sent mt call, they gave me 1400 miles run. Hehe, I made it in two days and now sitting at HEB in Houston. Appointment tomorrow at 6a.m. so after they mt me out, I'll be ready to go with full 14/11.
I was hammering down all the way since day 2. First day I was running around 60 to get the feel for the truck. I've never driven Detroit motor before.
Needless to say, after all that hard running, my MPG average is 7.6. I LOVE this truck. -
A question: How is that fuel bonus thing being done. They told me that they'll need to download my data at Akron or Sioux Falls. But then what? They gonna pay me backwards for all miles I've driven before getting there or forward +0.02 for all miles I will drive??
-
They download the data in zephyrhills also. They will pay you for the dispatched miles behind you. So if you go home and were dispatched 6000 miles before going home that is what your fuel bonus will be paid on. Did u pick that Houston load up in barron,WI.?? I was suppose to have a Houston load but my last stop messed that up. 4 hours to pull off 3 pallet.

So right after I sent the mt call, they sent me to the Galveston yard to pick up a load of pineapples and take it to Chicago. Another 1200 miles. That'll make 4300 miles just in 8 days. Is this normal?
The only problem is that I'm now really low on hours. The load assignment says to get there between 5 and 8 in the morning and the best I can do is between 8 and 10. I can start driving 2300 with 533 miles to go and only 10 hours on my 70. Normally it'd take me around 8.25 hours but even tough it'll be Sunday, this is Chicago.
And then, after I get unloaded, I won't have any hours left to get out of there unless I log it as personal coach and drive to the closest truck stop. -
You are running good. I would say it is pretty normal. I am in Florida now and got a load going to Houston. I am glad to hear you are running good. This is a good company .

This is amazing! You just don't wait for loads.
30 minutes after I arrived to the receiver I spotted a msg light blinking. Pre-plan.
Pick up in Chicago tomorrow morning, deliver to Kansas Cty Tue morning.
Those guys don't believe in restarts do they? LOL
My friend at Stevens had 2 already.
