I heard tonite from a PSD classmate I ran into tonite in Ontario, CA that Prime had changed the 30,000 mile TNT requirement back to 60,000 miles. He said it was stated by the higher powers that the 30,000 mile requirement was a miscommunication and eveyone in TNT phase must do the 40,000 requirement. Has anyone ekse heard this?
Has anyone hears Prime switched TNT mile requirement back to 60,000?

No... I hadn't heard that. But...
It's a #### fine plan IMO! There are many of us who believe that the short training period provided by many carriers is just plain stupid. -
For once, n I cant believe Im sayin this but.... I agree with IP. I think it should go back up to 60,000. There is a lot to learn, n thats not usually enough time to learn it. I did the full 60,000 miles. Now Im in training again... That bein said.... I doubt it was a "miscommunication". I think it will stay as it is.... Someone who trains would know better.
-
Yeah... no clue here. No one told me about the 30,000 in the first place. Grabbed trainee... what do ya mean only 30,000??!?! -
I was told by a Prime recruiter on Friday that phase II would be 40K miles. I think it's a step in the right direction for me. I want to be a co-pilot until I'm fully trained and totally comfortable.Ms.Jesse Thanks this.

Well I wouldnt mind if it had been 60,000 miles from the beginning but to switch it up in the middle of training kind of sucks. I have been looking forward to finishing my miles and being on my own truck because I dont really care for the whole team experience for that long. I will do what I have to do but it would really suck if they changed it back with no notice to those of us who came on only expecting to do 30,000 miles. Thats one of the things that made me decide to go with Prime.

Ask your FM.... He would know what YOU have to do.

Guy I know of is doing his now and it is 60,000 miles. He's been out there since May and has or is just about to finish the 60k.
-
Keep in mind 30,000 is the MINIMUM. It is up to the trainer how long the trainee is out for.
-
Yup. You can stay on a trainer's truck up to 100,000 miles.
While I personally feel the 60k makes more sense, I'm content with the 30k because I honestly can't stand teaming. It's been real rough on my sleep schedule. If we did super solo or something, I'd be more then happy with 60k.Dennis the Menace Thanks this.
