A gallon an hour to idle x $3.87/gal x 10 hours = $38.70. Plus the cost of a shower and you're talking about a room that rates quite a bit higher than fleabag.

If you can find one $50 and under that isn't a roach coach, then it would be cost effective to get one. Most of the 'decent' truck friendly hotels I found were 60ish a night. There was one that was $35 a night, but I forgot where it was. I wanna say it was the I-24 truck plaza off exit 114 in Manchester, Tennessee. I did get a room there, but I was also working on a 34 hour reset.

With a CLC card I can normally get a motel6 Super 8 range room for 30ish.All in what is around and convenient to meet my schedule. Figure in the cost of a shower. Getting out of the cab for ten hours, and usually a decent TV selection for an hour or two it's worth it to me.
I know a guy Pete used to use it for about three or four hours a night that way he only payed about$ 8 or$ 10 and loved it. To each their own. -
