I will go where ever I want and say what ever I want. I don't take orders from suck ups or wanna be's. I tell it like it is. Don't want the truth hit ignore. Stick your head in the sand. I am sure the problem will go away...

Prime also pays better than most starter companies. Flatbed STARTS at 36cpm. Plus you will be driving good equipment. Once a truck reaches 600,000 miles, they sell it and buy a new truck to replace it. You have to look at the whole package

Hey knucklehead. I been doing this for a long time. I can tell you of several companies that are OTR companies that get home for the weekends. Some are even starter companies. Not all companies are like that jacked up outfit you started with.
Recruiter? Kickbacks? I call companies like they are. The good ones I give praise to. The jacked up ones like yours. Well; they get the jacked up company rating. Now once again lets cover the bases. How many companies have you trucked for and how long? Ooops, forgot. You don't have a dog in the race. You started with prime and all you know is what is in your answer book. Like I have said before. I have a lot of stick time. Tankers, flats, vans. I done this a few times. The OP wanted to know about primes flatbed? Did they ask for a prime yes man? How much flat time do you have with prime? You keep telling me I am holding a grudge. I am just telling what I know from how jacked up they are.
Don't you have something better to do? I think rob lowe is ringing his little bell again. Why don't you go drawl his bath water for him or something?Last edited: Oct 3, 2011

the previous statement wasnt for you IP, was directed at other (enter explitive for desired anotomical part here) on here who try and what seems like scare off newbs, which will eventually be the base of this industy. AND before you start notarp, i have about 20yrs in the trucking industry, from dry van to oversive and unconventional-shaped loads.

Sounds to me, a non-driver, that what's going on here is a "my opinion is better than your opinion" argument. Bleh. Two people can work for the same companies for the same time and have very different experiences. It does not make either "right" or "wrong." Just different.
I also wonder why people who opine that "this company" is better because of these reasons <insert lots of very nice-looking numbers here> do not name the company. This is, after all, the DAC forum, isn't it? If someone knows the best-paying company, why not let us know which one it is?Last edited: Oct 4, 2011
