I live in OKC, and No It wasn't me at the Petro. I've been at the Loves in Gary Indiana since yesterday, and stopped at the first service plaza on toll road that night.
Ok. Shastastic or anybody Now I'm burning up. Should I close one of those valves because earlier 2day I woke up and thought the truck was on fire it was so hot. There's a valve 1 on top and 1 on bottom or can i turn them a little side ways or something?

Ricky I was told the same thing a Year and a half ago, and still nothing has changed.
I'm not even sure how those contracts work, because I know when JBS took over the swift plants my company hauled tons of beef for them and they cut the rates and it went from hauling just say 20loads to like 5 loads and we started hauling for the Cargil Plants. Those numbers may be off i'm sure it was more then 20 loads but my company didn't want to haul for that cheap, and Maybe that is because they might of had a contract with swift but not JBS. I don't know.
I was in Plainwell one day and an FFE driver came in. On the radio he was asked if he was pickin up a load and he said he was picking up a 6 stop load for nyc. As far as I'm concerned they can have those. I go to NYC, but no way i'm doing that many stops.
Give the common carriers the crappy loads, and give us the loads that don't take us all day to get off, and to places where we can get in and out of pretty easy.(frieght lane wise)DocRox, LadyDriverCO and Jarhed1964 Thank this. -

JBS not near big enuff to haul all there own loads...they could do alot more NO DOUBT, but they will always use outside carriers, they would have to be bigger than wiener to cover all there loads

That's correct........as far as I know there is no intent to haul 100%......we would have to have 10k trucks

Riduclious isn't it. Hubby got to where his pick up was supposed to be. tried and tried to get him DM to give him the pickup number she kept blowing him off for a few hours. finally he had less than an hour until he was "supposed " to be loaded( according to PP) and he couldn't check in without number so he called JBS customer service and said sorry but I can't get an answer from my DM and they NEED a load number or I will be late even though I have been here since last night.
Got a really nice girl there she told him it doesn't load today it loads tomorrow NIGHT... WTF??? But the nice part was she actually said she was sorry it was her fault she set the load friday not knowing for sure if it would be today or tomorrow and for some reason they gave it to him BEFORE it was confirmed. How nice and rephreshing to be actually told the truth...not by DM of course. She even offers to see if they can get him something different and give that load to someone else. SHE contacts planner and they get him a diferent load that he is now on his way to pick up. STILL hours after supposed pick up NO WORD from his DM not a peep.
FINALLY 4 hours later all is straightened out and he is on his way to a different load on the qual comm comes a message from his DM...." OH so you got a different load?"
This is why I always lean toward OUR issues anyway are from our DM.....Good Luck man your way nicer about it then I would be!!Scooby379 and Jarhed1964 Thank this. -
we don't need to haul all of them but there is NO REASON why we have so many trucks sitting so much on the road getting no miles....making no money.....while subs run like the dickens pulling OUR product!!! Our trucks should be PRIORITY in OUR plants IMO.Scooby379 and Jarhed1964 Thank this.
