I fell in love with this place.
Our waitress looked at me and knew everything. She read me like a book. Sweet red beans and rice were a little funky, but tasty. My seafood rocked and I needed a to-go box. Best oysters I've had in ages.
Our waitress was SO sassy. She practically ordered for us. She covered our food in foil, because she knew we went in the casino. All I had to do was catch her eye.
Loved the waitress, tipped her 10 bucks for lunch. I'm still not sure about sweet red beans and rice, but the food is great.
I'll go back.

Whoa...?!? Guess you drivers don't around much. You can watch your seafood being cooked while you shower, that is how close the bathrooms are to the kitchen. Only good thing about this one is the abundance of parking anytime of the day. You're better off (if westbound) to stop at the ex59. Name of the place is Peto's?? They have a really good cajun burger
-
nah i,ll take cash'es over that petro any day.
-
Not the Petro at the 76mm....this place is at the 59mm. Check it out next time you're running I-10

Cash's is a fantastic alternative to the Love's on the other side of I-10. Sit-down restaurant with great food all around. Genuine caring service. I go there whenever I roll through Port Allen.

Nothing would be a better alternative to a Love's/Peelot!

You should try Cash's breakfast special. They serve 24 hrs a day and man is it good. As for as Petos goes that place is highly overrated. Beware of the fried catfish. Its so salty you'll feel your blood pressure going up while you chew. Exit 87 in Rayne theres the Frog City. They have some #### good gumbo and crawfish etouffee and have great plate lunches Monday through Friday. Being a cajun born and raised in south Louisiana I know a thing or two about good food. Lol. If you ever go north on hwy 1 in Port Allen theres a place on the right called couyans bbq. You can pull off on the shoulder and run in for a to go order. I do it often and never get bothered by cops about parking on the shoulder. They have some awesome bbq.
chalupa Thanks this. -
Ate there often, always had the special and sat at the bar. Good parking and easy exit. 's a good place. ( could use a few more cans )

The seafood platter is awesome at Cash's. You will have enough left over for breakfast. Bathrooms and showers could be cleaner. Employees are courteous. Plenty of parking.
Petos sucks. The steak was one of the worst that I have ever tried to eat. Fuel is high and no squeegees to wash your windshield with. Bathrooms and showers were clean(new). Employees are rude.hotrod1653 Thanks this.
