seebs,
i may be wrong, but my understanding is most, not all, yet. lightweights have apu's. some are still being fitted with the apu's. either waiting on more apu's to come in or getting the smaller trucks cycled through the shop for installation. course my info is from about 2 - 3 weeks ago.
just my .02 from what i have heard.

I believe the Internationals are for Lease Ops right now. I'm not sure if anytime in the future they will bring in company internationals.
Any truck giving to a new driver will have an APU.
In the past, not all lightweights had APUs, those ones are getting them if the driver wants to have it.jccwall Thanks this. -
The had a plan to go with an all-electric Kohler APU on the lightweights. For whatever reason, it didn't work... just took them this long to get around to plan B.
-
great well I plan to switch sides anyway but if I was staying on d reefer side don't think I would mind the lightweight or in ORD word "cute truck"....ha

by the way, anyone have any idea on the kenworth's. last time i was at the terminal they had several kw's there, they were new trucks. all were, i do believe, the larger team / trainer type.

Lol they are cute lol
The KWs are T700s.... very nice trucks -
ill take a KW over a freightshaker lol
-
They were all spoken for when they arrived... more senior drivers.
-
i figured that, just wishful thinking lol

Kenworths are over-priced... nothing more than a fancy Pete.
