23 years of experience, your first post is singing praises.
I'm going to guess you do or never interacted with other drivers over the last 23 years with how companies handle their new employees?
We all know that for most companies a newbie there is actually tried a little to see how they react to no runs, sitting, given a POS truck, idiot dispatching and so on.
OR
Actually run you like crazy to butter the bread so you think you have a great job until you get the kinks out and figure their game plans out.
OR
We, who have been in the forum for a while and on others know when a cheerleader jumps in with a first time post singing the praises 12 pages 119 posts deep with all this great company stuff!
I'm sorry QueenBee, give it a while and then let us know how sweet Lessors is, as on a few other web sites they aren't showing that great approval rating you're giving them! You're 1 out of how many?
As some of us would call this...get back to the dispatch desk or spin control office as someone needs to be given a load and it's NOT us in here!
Lessors inc beware

Hate to tell you Skippy but you certainly where not using your mind when you gave us Prez Obama. And it takes little brain power to give your money and your freedom over to the Gov and let them tell you what to do with your life and money. Not bad American, just one that needs deprogramming. -
Queen you won't get the required 9200 miles per month for ins. Or didn't they tell you that part at orientation? That is PER MONTH doesn't carry over from month to month. Good luck. (you'll need it) I would guess you work in the office........

I agree. Working at Lessors for a month, and loving it, only tells me that possibly you are not a veteran driver like you say. Lessors Sux! Big Time!
It's strange that Shapiro's wife even allows him to step foot on the property. He does not own it, She does! Lock, stock and barrel!
Tell me, is the two biggest liars there. By liars, I mean Randy and Dave in recruiting.
Just wait, bud. When you go to florida and sit for days at no pay waiting for a load, then you will understand. -
give it another month and some1 will b calling u telling u, u got 2 step up your miles or we are going 2 slip seat your truck,,and you will look like this
Rollover the Original Thanks this. -
Most of the new drivers they were getting in got all the good miles and the ones who had been with them for awhile got jack squat. We were lucky to get 1500-1800 miles a week. Having a family and getting our pay cut from 0.42 cents a mile to .25 plus per diem killed us and that is not adding in all the fines they charged us. They also charged the drivers .03 cents per mile to do the paper work for the per diem pay! It's mandatory but your going to make me pay you to do the paper work? Why don't you add that up and see how much you're paying them a year to do that.
Needless to say I'm glad we left when we did. He was working for free basically. Hell we were on Welfare for food assistance! A trucker should never have to end up on welfare!
Oh well you live and learn. -
By the way I have yet to find a recruiter that doesn't try to sell you a dream but you end up with a nightmare.
If you are such a veteran you should know that by now. 23yrs of experience you should know recruiters lie like dogs. -

Good luck with JBS!!! -
Marten transport is not too bad. Freight is slow.miles are fair.tje pay is pretty good.they are mostly getting rid of lazy whinny drivers. And marten will tell you. Come ready to work. The trucks are nice the office staff are good to work with. And they do not hire stupid people either.
