Really, when I bypass the governor it's for the entire trip, from 65mph to whatever she will run. Take it UP TO 65mph, who do you drive for ?
I bet everybody in your company meetings got really excited when they announced that you could take it up to 65mph.lol
And check this out, turning a 65 mph truck up to 75 or 85 got us a fuel bonus too, couldn't do that when they were turned down unless we cheated.![]()

Our trucks are governed to 62 with the cruise control on. You can take it up to 65, but only for a short time. After a while the governor will start to derate the engine if you don't take it back to 62.
Although I have taken a England truck to 80 a few times. -
