I assume that this is Roehl's new requirement. I know the feds where looking at making some kind of rule to require testing, I just was not sure how far along it was. I was kind of caught off guard, I sleep really well and had never considered sleep apnea. Roehl did give me the number of an outfit that sends you a small device that you strap on yourself and goto sleep, and then just mail it back. It is a "home" sleep study, so I am in the process of checking that out. I think that would be better than having to go try to sleep in a strange bed. Anyway for all of you out there that are fat like me, this is coming down the pike, so don't be surprised like I was. I guess the real solution is to loose the tank hanging around my middle, then I wouldn't have to worry about any of this...LOL

I won't be back. They would no longer let me train because of what I had posted here on TTR. So I figure if I am not good enough to train for them, then I am not good enough to work for them. I think I am going to work for and O/O that has a truck leased with Mercer. I used to haul alot for them when I had my own truck several years ago, and they were always good to work for. So I am going to go drive a real large car, and be able to do what I do best, truck. As for Roehl, I never did anything but a good job for them, and really did like working there. So I am off the Buffalo to get my TWIC started later this week, and get a few more thing squared away here at home, then it will be off to the big road again.

WOW that is ####KD up!!! cause you post your own personal opinion on here they wont let you train, but still wanted you to work for them? wow!

Well I said it many times before that there are trolls on here, 2 i know for sure that are in the office there and report us to FM's and management. like little tattle tale children.

They don't want you doing anything but singing their praises as holy than thou.

Hell all you did the whole time off was help others with Roehl, Typical!

I'm sure its a better move for you though, your better than them.
All the reason I know my days are numbered here lol... My SN says it all, I never "conform" to the system nor sit around trying to suck up to them like tiny Tim begging for more please. #### still think thats messed up!

well its always a good rule of thumb to never post or say anything online you wouldn't want your grandmother to hear, but yea most big carriers have trolls patrolling forums looking for drivers bad mouthing the company. Me being me, I have never said anything about Roehl that I wouldn't tell Rick Roehl himself. Would get me fired for sure but still, the truth from my point of view is my truth. But,

Truth hurts sometimes but it can also hurt you when they fire you over it,

welcome to the 21st Century things are different LOL

Dude thats messed up. I hope you do better with the o/o who's leased to mercer. I can attest to your feelings because I know for a fact that a few people higher ups at Swift have read my posts and even my boss. When another door closes, another one opens.

All I have to say is be careful, you can go through my posts. I have never had anything bad to say about Roehl. All I did was complain about it taking too long to get me back to work. Oh well, things like that happen. I have a perfect record, and a zero CSA score, with almost a million safe miles, so I am good to go anywhere. So ultamately I win and they lose a good driver. I get to move on and continue doing what I love.
