I swear, I have no complaints with WS...They keep me as busy as I can be, fix anything that breaks ASAP, they treat me like a person, not a number and correct errors in a timely manner...

I haven't checked my stubs against my records since June, today, since I had time, I did and found a load from June that I wasn't paid on for 1100 miles!!...Within minutes I was told it would be on this week's check, you gotta love that!!!...

The other thing I found when I checked all my loads was I didn't find any errors on the ones I was paid on, you just don't hear that from many companies...

Sounds like the trucks are the only down side, wore out with 6 or 700000 miles on them when you get them. I saw two of your daycabs in Highpoint NC yesterday and I swear, one of them looked like it had been hit by a train and they were still using it. AT's truck goes uphill at 15mph, he blames detroit, not the case when those motors are left alone they will pull like crazy and you can run the heck out of them and still get a fuel bonus.

But your right, most companies today are taking a look at back paystubs too, trying to see if they can screw the next driver that takes that same load, glad to hear you really like it, that is rare, your company does everything to keep drivers happy, wow, what a concept!

Other companies out here treat their drivers like they are the enemy. An animal headed to the slaughter is better off than most drivers because at least their misery ends at some point.

I would rather drive an older truck and drive for a decent company, than a new truck, and not moving and not making money

No use being in a nice truck with no miles either. You can get miles here if you aren't lazy.

And on that note.. I'll also say my truck's decen enough. I'm happy with it. Its a 07 Volvo, 625k miles on it now. But its running good. Cummins engine.. I beat other trucks going up grades even when I'm 78k. I get fuel bonuses with it with my foot mashed on the throttle. It had a few issues when I first got in it.. they always seem to do that, I don't know why. I started to worry I'd always be in the shop... but it wasn't true. :) And if it had turned out to be true, they would've put me in a different truck anyway.

And I also affirm walstib's pay check confidence. As well as getting compensated for things you choose to pay for out of your own pocket.

I love my truck too!...It's an 05 Volvo with 695K with a Cummins...It outpulls almost everyone comparably loaded and gets over 8mpg regularly...8,18, 8.38 and 8.32 the last 3 months averaging over 12000 miles/mth...It's had it's 'issues' but nothing major and nothing keeping me from making a load on time,...I've never been late for a pickup or delivery...Could it prettier, sure, could it have more amenities, sure, but I wouldn't change it unless I knew I could get the same performance out of a new truck...It's become my home away from home! :biggrin_25520:
