JB seems to have reorganized their business. They are doing really well with the intermodal and DCS accts. Sounds like it is working out for the drivers too.....FINALLY.

Sorry to hear that man....but its been really good for me doing regional and the freight is ALWAYS there. Im home very often and my wife and kids are really happy with the money I make $900 weekly. I drove local for a temp agency for almost a year in los angeles making $15 hr. And took home about $600 weekly, but, with BAD equipment, all kinds of DOT inspections and crap from the client. I had the same kind of crap you discribed on here with two other major carriers (crst, knight) and oh my good lord was that a major let down by these guys! It was horrible! Horrifically horrible!

I guess if I had a wife she would be satisfied with anything other than minimum wage:biggrin_25523:

This thread seems like a joke or this guy has to be a recruiter.:biggrin_25514:

You must be smokin the vegetation, your trucks are garbage, in everybodys way, holding up production, slow and weak, I can walk up a hill faster than you can drive up.

Will say though, love to watch JB Hunt drivers go down the grapevine in Californication, lots of smoke, drums on fire, no jake break, course who needs one when downhill speed is the same as uphill.

Only a couple of states you can run the speed limit, California is one, you must feel like a racecar driver in that state huh. In Arizona or New Mexico you would be just a turd. Trash company driving trash trucks pulling trash freight with trash driver on board.

all of the newer model international trucks have a weak jake, granted, but, the trucks are fairly new 2011 2012. Going up hill is about 35mph with a max payload, in 7th.

Listen, I have been driving for over 30 years. Had a chance to drive for a friend of mine last year for 3 weeks. He's an owner operator for JB Hunt. Paula baily and all the other dispatches were great. Very good company. I live in a bad area real south of orlando. Found it hard to get on with them. They do not like where I live. Anyway the ribbibing Jb Hunt drivers take is really jealousy, I think, because I would rate JB at the top of my list. They always have freight, never a long down time. very very professional. IF YOU CAN TAKE THE RIBBING YOU WILL BE HAPPY THERE. I will close with one thing to ponder. JB has more accounts, high safety record and satisfied drivers then any other carrier. THAT SHOULD SPEAK FOR ITSELF>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>:biggrin_25514:

Actually I got out of trucking about 2 years ago to go back to school, almost have an associates degree, then transferring to a University to study civil engineering. So yeah there will be some hard times ahead im sure but it will pay off.

You must get some sort of amount of money for how ever many people you recruit on here. How much do you get? Are you the one that keeps putting those bogus ads on Craigslist. seriously dude. Stop It!:biggrin_25525:
