Hey every one. I just got my plane ticket to Tulsa On the 22 of October. I am turning in my truck for my current company at the end of next week then driving back to atlanta for a week of fun with the family and getting every thing done before I head out.

You are smart to put your plans on hold, going to work for JCT. Just sit back and wait. Most of these newbies wont be there probably in 6 months. This is not a good company to work for. LMB gave me a rash of #@%* when we quit and I gave an honest opinion of the company, and now listen to him. You can go back and read my post from when we drove for JCT, and thats what kind of crap goes on there.

Like i've said over and over before, jct isn't for everyone, but if you got the drive and willing to work hard, understand that you'll be running a business, not just driving a truck anymore, then there is no reason you can't be successful here.

 

They talk a good game,but you are a number.there is nothing legal or safe about what they do,but they get away with it because KS DOT is bought and paid for..Example..you as a single driver get dispatched on a 2300 mile run that MUST BE ON TIME NO MATTER WHAT!! Bad weather,traffic,or being held up at a shipper or rcvr is no excuse for being late..even a mechanical breakdown is iffy..you are allowed 3 late loads per year..thats all. Beware the phone call that says someone at the yard needs to look at your load..Actual translation is you just got fired!..then you have one hour to leave the property and once you pass the gate you are on your own!!my only hometime in 30 days was one 34 hr restart..unless you are related to someone in the office or play golf or barbeque every weekend with someone in the office..you are a number..it's mind over matter..they don't mind,and you don't matter...You don't have to belive me..just watch for yourself,and watch your back..I'm just sayin'..

 

Did they put a gun to your head to run that load? Are you incapable of telling them you can't make it before you agreed to pick the load up? I just love the haters make themselves the victim when clearly from their story there are flaws. Jct isn't out of ks just so you know!
