I do not run for JCT (yet), but Alanp613 hit the nail on the head. It is a business - requires so much more than just safe driving to be successful at it. Anyone can fail and point fingers, but how do you then explain the success stories ?

    Alanp613 and BigR Thank this.

ok,,i see the haters are back,,so heres the real deal from another succseful lease operator here.....i was recently placed on e-logs,,,grrrrr!@#$#@!,,,however i had a seasoned dm an the transition was relatively smooth,,still got great miles and preplans before delveries,,,but he got canned about a month ago or so,,,got a "newbie" dm,,,utter disaster,,,have yet to get back above 2300 mpw,,however,,i just got put on an older dm,m board last week,,,gotten loaded preplanned or relayed every time in less than 2 hrs,,so it looks like it may be back to normal for me within about two weeks,,,,the moral of this story????? make sure that when you are running good,,,put some of that money back for a rainy day!!,,my wife fortunatly is a wizard with money and that has saved our bacon this past month,,,we are very close to being on the ropes,,but things are getting better and its only a matter of time before im in the money again,,,,,you can make it here on paper or e-logs with a good dm,but like alan will tell you,,plan ahead for the unseen and you will be fine.

wow,u not able to pick up the phone and work with dispatch for a relay to get the load there on time? have had a few rescedules, and many a relay/swap in last year and 3/4 here, never a problem,,never forced to run past my judgement (now dont expect them to like it when you say no,,but stick to your guns and they will make it happen) (and no dispatch dont have enough trucks or time, to sit around figuring out ways to screw you over),so enough of the bull, tell the whole story and quit trying to ruin a great thing for others.

not tryin to ruion nothin for others.Everybody has to make there own choices and no faults for that, but put yourself in their shoes, you want the truth, half the story or a lie?I agree with others that it is not for everybody there, but in order to be successful there, you need to be #### sure about what you are willing to sacrifice to do it.And be willing to pay the price for taking them at THEIR word.I casn't legally tell you what they told me that caused me to leave, but if it was you,you would've done the same thing.I wish the best of luck to anybody there to give it a try,but hindsight is 20/20.

Wow, do we really have to go back to all the negitive crap? As it has been said a million times if you don't like JCT, that's fine please just post it someplace else people. If you'll look there is a forum for " Bad trucking companies " as well. Maybe some of yall should check that one out.

How bout' gettin' back on track with a legit question about JCT? Alan or Granny, maybe you could help me out with this i could have swore i read somewhere on here that our fuel network discounts were something like .07 cents at Petro/TA, .06 cents at Love's & .02 cents at Flyin J/ Pilot. However during orientation and through reading my paperwork the only thing i've saw/herd about is the .02 cents at Flyin J/Pilot. Hopefully you could shed some light on this for me, thanks.

I just concider the sorce, Most haters here, just have no idea how to run a buisness!, I've been with JCT for never 5 years, never forced to run illegal, if for some reason I cant make delivery, they have always done there best to repower the load, I have found from talking to JCT haters at T/S, the reason they fail end up there own fault, consistant turning down loads, As with most companies, if you get a rep for load turn downs, they will put you at the bottom of the list, you wish not to take care of the company, they wont worry about you!

If you'll reread the post you'll see that i was agreeing with jarhed about waiting to here from LMB. Untill we hear the full story there's nothing to be concerned about. I would'nt let one post make up your mind about putting your plans on hold, especially when you don't know what it was about. That's just my 2 cent's worth, good luck to ya'.
