    I am still not home.
I had a 2 stop yesterday morning. The plan was to get to the first stop and take my break there. But could not make it to store in my hours.
So since I had a 800 appt at the first one, and a 1300 at the second stop, I thought I could get in an 8 at the first stop. Got there at 0345.
hmmm.....miles were off on the plan. The second stop was not 45 miles away, it was 76 miles away.
I can still do an 8, but would be 15 min late on second stop. Dispatch said he could live with that......
First stop had me unloaded in record time. They called the second stop and told them I was leaving soon (before they talked to me).
So now I am 2 hours short on my 8 hour break, that I now cannot take.
So I deliver the second stop, pick up my next load. It was due to drop in Chicago, and I could grab my next load off the drop yard.
But I now cannot make it to Chicago last night, since I screwed myself out of 4 hours.
So now I am sitting 90 miles from home for a 10.
    Oh well....
    I tried.
Now I will not get a restart this weekend, but I will have hours to run anyway.
All so I could trade to a newer truck. Since mine was sold.

Anyone have trouble following all that? LOL
Can you tell I am on e-logs.
If not I would have been home by now.

    L.B. Thanks this.

There are just some things a person cannot give up. At least, until we die. But, to quote a german polka..."if there ain't no beer in Heaven",...well, is there still room in Pergatory?:biggrin_25524:
