Anyone have a decent source for either Power Service or Howes Anti Gel?

I am looking for quarts or half-gallons (nothing larger) and while the local Pilot carries it for a fairly decent price, I figured if I can buy it in cases I might save some money...

    Thanks :biggrin_25514: !

Try a dealership they are usually cheaper than truck stop I use to get Lucas at the freightliner dealership for $81 a case which was a heck of a lot cheaper than any truck stop

    Hanadarko Thanks this.

JD, have you tried looking on the internet for it? You may be able to buy it in quantity, direct from the manufacturer and get it shipped to you.

    Hanadarko Thanks this.

I get Howes from Fleet Farm. Last year the bottle that treats 300 gallons was just over $10. It is usually $18-$19 at a truckstop.

    Hanadarko Thanks this.

I bought Howes from a local dealer for $54 a case of 6 last year. Haven't priced any yet this year. You ever get to NW Iowa? If so, I can pm you his contact info.

I will check Farm&Barn....but so far, Pilot has been the most cost effective.

My dealer carries Pen Ray but I like Howes or Power Service products.
    They never let me down.

However, the last fill up I did here in town was now with B15 diesel.
I wasn't pleased to see that....I dont relish the thought of mushrooms growing in my fuel tanks :biggrin_2554:

My local fuel supplier has the bio diesel only as well. I used to think the stuff was ok, but for the last year or so I just can't get any kind of mileage out of it at all. Not sure what they have done, but something has changed.

In my case, I need all the help I can get in the mileage department!:biggrin_2559:

I was disappointed to say the least. Not sure what we can do as more and more stations migrate...
So now I need some sort of fuel cleaner, winter anti-gel and now FUNGAL growth preventer ?!

..wait, maybe I can harvest the shrooms that sprout?

...I swear some day I will open the filler cap and see a lilly pad floating in there....:tongue6:
