I wish it was. Fortunately I haven't had to request detention in a while.

I sat for about three hours and the computers came back up. Then I couldnt legalize the load. I had 12,040 on the steers, 34,600 on the drives, and 33,600 on my tandems with them all the way up. Had to leave the load. All of their dock workers had gone home so they couldn't rework it. Even if they could have they would have had to shift the whole load to the rear. Oh well.

If you waited that long already, why didn't you just stay until they came back? You may wait on a load for another day now...not to mention because it was ALL their fault, you could have an argument to claim it all as detention pay...

Logistics could of had a different load for him to go get. Or perhaps they wouldn't be back until Monday to reload.

If he stayed under load, since it was the shippers fault on the bad load, he could get detention the entire time if his DM fought for it. Otherwise they may only pay layover for his wait time.

I called my DM and she wanted me to drop it and take something else. She had fuel by midnight the night before due to price jump so that is what put me over. I would have been 900 lbs lighter had I not fueled. Either way they hade me right back under a new load. I lost about 200 miles on that load and a Preplan at the end of that which was another 300 miles or so. So in all I lost out on roughly 500 miles for the week. At least I am rolling though.

Yeah where I was that night, the price shot up ZERO CENTS lol

At least they had something right away for you...I'm sitting here in Brundidge, AL, behind that Hardee's, until some time tomorrow (been unloaded for 9 hours so far)
