I was on my way from Portland to the Monroe, Wa. swap meet on Friday afternoon, and got stuck in 2 hours of traffic (to drive 10miles) due to this guy (I took the picture I am posting, there is another pic at the news link):

About 50 miles before this wreck, we passed under an overpass that had a Log truck that had flipped and spilled it's logs down the side of the bridge
(Onto a grassy hill between the entrance ramp and the freeway).

Just found a news report on the accident:

holy smokes that was a close one for that May driver it was almost a rear end collision which almost always results in death he was quick on that lane change but he was lucky as hell there was no cars on the left lane. That area in notorious for right lane backups gotta be on your toes.

I don't think that's a May truck but yeah a close call with the grim reaper.
I've driven that stretch many times and I usually just use the left lane all the way through, always congested through there and lots of lane jockeys in both 4 wheelers and 18 wheelers.

Hate to admit it, but that's not May. That is Haney Truck Lines. The NPE logo and the color of the tractor gives it away. Haney bought NPE.

It was a Haney truck. It was an NPE trailer and the driver was completely at fault. Doubt he was fired though. I have talked to drivers there that have had rollovers and still work there.
