Stay away from FFE Transport

    If your thinking about geting into Trucking stay fare away Trucking really does suck ### if you like being away from home for extended periods of time and never knowing if the next day your going to have a job or not and have to deal with rude dispatchers that really don't give a crap about you and on top of that having to deal with rude drivers on the rode that would rather run you off the road then take care of there own. Sure all the schools will tell you this is a new career but I'm here to tell you that is so fare from the truth it's not even funny did you know that most truck drivers out there are in very bad health that this is all they can do most have high blood pressure and have diabetes if you want all kinds of health problems sneaking up on you plus weight gain and looking like crap then become a truck driver but don't do it for the money even if you have a ton of experience on your belt a lot of companies well purposely not give you miles because your being paid 40 cents a mile or more now if your a Rookie and only making 29 cents a mile or more or less whatever the point is this they will run you hard and expected you to do it off of little to no sleep the only advantage you have being out there is not having a boss on your shoulder but they can still track you anywhere you go. And i love the scare tactics that allot of companies use on you. Also if you call the reciter for any companie they all lie to you about what you will be doing and how much you will be paid and what type of truck you will be getting and how your home time will work and then win go out with a trainer they all are about them not caring whether you make it or not they get there miles and that's all they care about so be smart and go to anther trade that will be worth it and not having all this things wrong with you plus even on a budget out there allot of the truck stops out there charge you extra for anything they can find.     Sounds like you have a problem with trucking rather than FFE.

    maybe its just me,but your issue is with otr trucking in general,not ffe. you didnt know what you were getting into and you couldnt handle it,youre part of the large number of people that are suckered in by the "driver shortage" propoganda...goodluck..

    Give it up dude trucking aint for you I agree with the comrads here I dont know what you were thinking you should've done more research before jumping in maybe a local comp is for you good luck.

    Wow FFE sucks. They give you high blood pressure, diabetes, and make you look like crap. when you're talking about Scare Tactics do you mean the old ones with Shannen Doherty or the newer ones with Tracy Morgan. I agree they should really subject you to that, but some of those epsiodes were kind of funny.

    On a side note, how dare they track their assests. I mean the only reason they do it is because they want to harass drivers, WTF.

    Guess he never heard of step up's... open your door and step up and down. Walk around the trailer/tractor for about 15 min's. Carry your own food. Can goods, peanut butter, jelly, noodles. Buy a 12v cooker, cook your own food. Oatmeal, eggs... Carry a 5lb dumbbell - use it.

    Use you computer and take online college courses.

    lots of ways to be smart.

    People dont think of truck driving schools as a bussines trying to make a profit. They need to keep turning out new drivers to stay in bussines so they say what they half to to get new people into their school. They could care less what happens after you graduate. They got their money! The so called driver shortage is most likly something created by driving schools so they can talk people into going to driving school. They only tell the good parts of trucking so people sign up. Just re ember if there realy was a driver shortage our pay would be going up instead of dropping!
