    Go to his last post.

Click on his name and choose the find previous posts.

You will find some info there.

He left Swift a long time ago.

If you had any bills after becoming a full time OTR trucker use online bill pay & direct deposit and then you would never need a "physical address." The mere thought of it all is so enticing. good luck and keep us posted.

I live in the truck, use my POBox on my driver's license but have to use some friends' physical address for my car registration, car insurance, IRS, voter's registration... and convinced the bank to accept POBox.

They won't terminate your box unless you don't pay. I used to pay 6 mo at a time cuz I knew I'd be home within that time frame. If your box gets full they just hold the extra in the back. When you go to get your mail there will be a note in there letting you know that there is more mail in the back. Unfortunately you end up having to stand in line to get to the counter to get the mail. Have to show ID.

I currently use the UPS store now instead of the post office. I can make payments online and they email me when I have a package and also if my box is full. They also email you to let you know when you need to pay for the box. Great service from them!!! Also, the address used is not a PO box it is the actual address of the store and then the store number and box number for an address. So it actually looks like a REAL address.

    Hope that helps.

i looked into ups with real street address and was told by a driver it wont work at dmv to register a car because that comes up as a buisiness address, who knows but ya that helps.i currently have had a p.o. box for years that i pay for 6 months at a time just not doing the otr driving yet and i'll just use a family members physical address to register thanks.

No it doesn't work for registering a car. Sorry, I should have said that. But yeah, using a friends address works. I use my son's address until I get my own place. Gettin old and need my own place for a change.

unhappyotr is correct. I check my mail box every 2 to 3 months. Most is junk mail. The folks at "my" post office are really nice. :yes2557: One time I was on the road and forgot to renew the rent for 2 weeks... :biggrin_25524: Called them and they told me my box was still "mine", all the mail was still in there and I would just have to send the money with a late fee. I guess if this post office were a really busy one, they would probably rent it to someone else right away.
