I hope they get it. It would be great to see a turn around in the trucking industry.
Kind of like the old days when drivers all stuck together and helped each other out.
Remember when truckers used to dress nice and get the boots shined?
Those were the years i started driving and it was a blast.
I was at a shipper this morning waiting to load and noticed a driver trying to fix a headlight that was burnt out.
I grabbed a spare bulb out of my side box went over and put it in for him.
He acted like a gave him a hundred bucks or something...lol!
I told him just to pass it on one day and help another driver out.
we are slobs

Hate to say it, but look at the companies these guys are driving for that are doing this. I have been keeping track for a few months now, and on my route, it is almost always a canadian driver or a border driver (i.e. Mexico)
Just last week I saw 4 canadian trucks toss trash on the ground and 7 TSI drivers (border company in Laredo) doing the same thing. Mainly pee bottles and mcdonalds/burger king bags....nasty!!!! -
I worked for a comapny that did the same thing back in 1999-2000. Chicago Crime Scene Clean-up and also Medical Waste Solutions.......It was quite interesting
