Wamted to add I know your guys is much better he wouldn't do it for the new deal. Thats not why I was so shocked I called him. The Mentor board. he was just saying today he wished that they would give you guys your own board so that MAYBE he could actually realize the priority dispatch they always talk about. When he first accepted the job he wasn't sure he really wanted to be in the truck with someone all the time but he tried it BECAUSE of the promise of priority dispatch. LOL I knew he'd be fine because when we used to run into each other on the road and run together for awhile( seperate trucks different companies even) he loves having someone to chat with :)

Most of the time I can be flexible with my home time days. The company was made aware that I have a family member who flew in yesterday to visit and I needed to be home by the weekend. Not half of the weekend but the whole thing(if I even make it home for half). Set my off time a couple of days early to adjust for "the industry" and they still can't make it happen. I am blind with frustration. There isn't anyone at JBS to go to to fix the problem. Complaint to the planner and you can bet you won't move much after that. Their open door policy may work if you get by Greeley, but I haven't been through there on a weekday in months. Don't even have an email address for my boss (whoever that really is). Good thing there isn't a bar around here. Guess I will get up and go for a walk and hope I don't sit yet another day awaiting a load towards home.

I don't even know what to say. My first thought is JUST FRIGGIN GREAT....but then I say to myself "self calm down maybe those are excess loads-- no way we can cover all our plants loads everywhere" I think the answer to that is going to be the make or break point for alot of us. :biggrin_2557:

Well Your's truly just got a PP at the 23:50 mark of sleeper birth time, but I'm still getting layover pay. Or I will put it in anyway. Going directly to OKC. Home sweet home.

I just want to thank the planners, and fleet managers for doing such an awesome job. We are one big happy family here at JBS. Please fill free to use my truck number and name when filling out an application. I couldn't be happier here at JBS. My home for life. <<trying to get that 1000 referral bonus>> Please stay awhile if miles and home time don't get better. At least until my referral is paid out in full. Then you can go to another employer. Just remember when u come back Use my name again. I'll buy you a cup of coffee, and a slim jim when I see ya :).. Just remember. You allowed me to be the next 91,000 top driver at JBS.

Would love to whine and cry with you guys. But I got to get my roll on. If you guys had a better attitude and read Doc Holiday's How to get miles at JBS. You 2 would be enjoying your time here at JBS. :biggrin_2559:

Knocking on the rookies head. Maybe they didn't tell you this in truck driving school. But. ITS ALL ABOUT THE BENJAMINS BABY.

Take a hot trip around this forum and see if every company you go to don't have the same problem. This is not Greyhound or American Airline. It is not Burger King You can't get it your way. Either you are going to man up and put your big boy undee's on. And realize. You work for them. They don't work for you. They pay the Fuel, trailer, truck note, etc, and they also pay YOU.

Nobody on this forum cry's more then me. But at the end of the day. I work for JBS, and being in the trucking industry for 13+years. You are going to be late. All they can do is do their best. If there are no loads there are no loads. Why take a load that is going to end up coasting you more money to deliver then. Waiting for a load that can @ least make you a profit.

It helps to take your truck driving brain off the road and remember. A corporation is in the business to make a profit. If that means Give all the loads to the rookies. Then that's what they will do. If that means fire people. That's what they will do. Truckers are a dime a dozen, and have taken bull crap for decades, and not willing to stand up for themselves. So Companies will continue to bend you over at will. Just Ask if you can put the lubrication in first.

This industry has turned to crap in the past few years, and it's all about them not about you. If you don't have a college education, and don't work in that office that you need a key card 2. Then your opinion doesn't matter. Wellcome to trucking brother. As I said b4 this will be my last company if God will's. They are all the same except for Calex lol :biggrin_2559:. You get home when you get home bro. and Thank the Good Lord when u do, because some never get to see home. Due to accidents and such.

I'm Hot 2 I'm going home but my miles for the week are 1400. But its my choice to go home. I can stay out and have a better week ending Thursday. My wife already crying about no sense to be out here if I'm not making money. So I gota put my big boy undies on and get ready for a Super ugly check next pay period. I will be having my will work for food sign in my truck if you need a lumper. Halla at your boy.. Good day:biggrin_25514::biggrin_25514::biggrin_25514::biggrin_25514:
