It's not the cops job to decide if you were right or wrong. A cops job is to uphold the law. The decision of right or wrong is made by a judge and jury.
I have no issue with self-defense. However, as I stated there is a fine line between self-defense and manslaughter/2nd degree murder. That's all I'm saying.
It's better to cut your losses and concede to a robber than it is to draw a weapon and have the robber kill you. Items can be replaced. Human life cannot be replaced.

"I'd rather be judged by 12, then carried by 6"
On a lighter, or (heavier) note, this is what I will be taking with me, it's a flashlight too
catahoula, THBatMan8, 7122894003481 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I have one of those. When that flashlight is fully loaded with batteries, it can do a bit of damage. No one wants to get hit in the head with that thing. LOL

I see my plan is working!!
Mwahahahaha!!!!! -
We as citizens have the right to carry guns but always legal no street guns, with that said a gun can save your life or end it, there is alot of cold hearted MF's out there that will cap you after robbing you but having a gun means you will pull the trigger facing the OP's situation and take out the attacker. Look man if its my time to leave this earth so be it but Im taking that MF with me and that's 1 of the reasons why I have life insurance. I dont carry my gun on the truck but I do carry 4 knives stashed at an arms reach no matter where Im at in the truck. I choose not to pack heat because I haven't felt threatened out on the road yet...
chipper9 Thanks this. -
Define "street guns".

That will work......unless they shoot first..

Heck, even a three-cell Mag would work. It only takes seven pounds of concentrated pressure to fracture a collar bone. It is a wide, easy target to hit with your most powerful arm movement: a frontal, downward arc. Not only is the injury extremely painful, it incapacitates the affected arm. Unless the idiot is on some really heavy duty stuff, he or she will only have one thing on his or her mind when the collar bone has been broken: uh....that one thing would be a broken collar bone.
Voyager1968 and Big John Thank this. -
Someone knocks on my door unexpected i already have mine locked and loaded before i look out the window or open the door.
I had a guy try that crap one night with what looked like a little 25 cal. in his hand.
I popped my .357 out the window and asked if he brought a pea shooter to a gun fight?
He ran off......lol!
Always expect the unexpected!
