What's the real deal on driving?

I've been thinking about a change in career, eligible to retire in current job. Last year was a tough year, became widowed, both kids are grown and in Fl. Was checking the AARP site and saw Schneider is teamed with AARP to hire boomers.

What am I in for?
The companies put a very positive spin on driving, there has to be a down side.

The only folks with a clue are you all out there on the road who have been there, done it and got the tee shirt too.
