Hey guys no offense, but this thread is about Heyl Truck Lines
-
Sitting in Jessup, MD. No load in sight. I got unloaded last night at around 2am. Now it's 9.30AM.
Another 3 Heyl trucks were also getting unloaded last night. I wonder how long I'll have to sit here in no parking zone...
On the other hand, I got paid today for my last load before I went home. 1450 miles = $630.
Fuel bonus for first two weeks was included. $138.
Amazing. I'm happy LOL

I'm so far very happy with Heyl.
I can confirm they can take care of business if your truck break down.
The first day after my hometime air dryer broke. I was at Florida Natural picking up a trl. Called shop, they had a guy there within 30 minutes.

Sorry xitman, heyl turned the guy down and we were just trying to help a fellow driver out, guess next time I'll start a NEW thread for the 3-4 posts that got this thread sidetracked.
And I did praise your company too, sorry if I took too much space here, won't happen again.
(sarcasm intended)GoPackGo77 Thanks this. -

Well, last two days were kid of... weird. First kinda unusual wait for load, then I'll get a load right back to Florida. Load assignment says 186 miles empty and 1006 loaded.
I took the route plotted by NaviGo and it was 200 mt and 1051 loaded.
When I asked Tom about the difference, he wrote "You are getting paid by route miles not navigation systems".
Then I asked him what does he want me to do with it since the appointment is Monday 8 am and I'll be there by Saturday around noon.
He said he'll let me know. Since he didn't, I assume that I'm delivering it Monday. So tomorrow another day and a half of unplanned hometime.
It kinda sucks to have just under 2000 miles in 7 days. I hope next week will be better.
Too bad everythime I call and someone else than Tom picks up, they are all so nice to talk with...
Just my DM doesn't like to communicate.

Toms not a talker but all in all he's been good. You will have those weeks and that's ok as long as you don't have to many.
