I'd like to state that it is not ALL canadian drivers, just the one's I saw were driving for Challenger (team) and the other guy was in a Celedon Canada truck....all wearing turbins btw.

Heck,It would be nice to park in a truck stop where the parking lot does not smell like piss as soon as you step out.
Imagine what is on our shoes!
I keep a floor mat on the drivers side and my shoes stay on it when i get in the bunk.
The floor mat gets washed every weekend.......NASTY!
I sure don't want that whizz tracked onto my carpet in the sleeper. -
True but we're a profession just like all the others. That doesnt mean that we have
to act like lawyers. -
When i have extra shower coupons. I use those instead of the general public areas. Just because they're cleaner abd way more private.

Honestly, I don't see it as a generation problem as I see guys of all ages that are complete slobs. I think it's more of a degeneration of our whole society problem. People don't seem to give a crap about anything anymore no matter how old they are.
Respect all around is gone.Marksteven Thanks this. -
This is very true. Keep in mind, if you are a Dirt Bag while on the road, Your probably a Dirt bag at home! If you dont shower and shave reg. on the road, you probably will stink at home!DirtyBob Thanks this.

It can be anybody, but usually it's from ones up bringing. But trucking does tend to draw low lifes with it's minimal hiring requirements. No boss to see how you are dressed or see how you act. They get stuck in a truck, start gaining weight after about five years. They start becoming a loner. Before you know it, they lost all self respect. To care for others, you have to care about yourself. I seen many that fit that mold. Sad, but true.
You won't see many with a military background that are slobs. Why? Because they are taught discipline.mtnMoma, puncher, Marksteven and 1 other person Thank this. -
i personally think its just times have changed, i wish i could drive back in the day when you weer broken down and the next truck that drove by would help.....what did it is technology technology will kill us all one day!!! lol seriously and some of the old timers that are like the effin new guys not in this forum i mean the kind of old guy that doesnt give a rookie a break is most likely the worst. they'll throw trash out the window and see a young guy do it and its oh look at that effin punkk i dont even have a license yet and i see it just by talking to people and pulling in places
