DO talk to a recruiter. Should be a non issue unless from a state that is not heavily recruited from.

 

It would be sad if you showed up and the Doc rejected you because you couldnt do the "duck walk"

 

Does Prime really check employment background. My fiance just recently left his job does to them cutting hours. We are both worried if he should not even give it a shot. I have heard bad reviews about every company how is prime?

 

Prime is a good company, despite what others say. Loom at the threads started by those of us who've gone through the program. It's not perfect, but no company is.

 

prime does check im pretty sure cause they were pretty upset that one of the companies i worked for is ojt of buisness, they called and asked me if there was another number, so i guess they check, but i would not worry about the leaving his job part, i been out of work for a bit now and they didnt complain. other then that i couldnt tell you how they are to work for yet, but a lot seem to be happy from what they post

 

We are because he just left the job. He has never called in and he was always on time,but he got tired after the hours were really short.

 

Are you saying he just walked out and quit or did he give notice? Some companies take big offense to being walked out on and will give you a bad reference. Even though legally they are only supposed to say that you arent rehireable and not give specifics.

Ok so he went from short hours to no hours without giving notice or having anything else lined up and cant collect unemployment for 6 months now because he quit. Its like cutting off your nose to spite your face! Didnt think that one through very well did he? Dont be surprised if he gets a bad reference and they dont want him just another negative to that whole thing.
