What works for me to keep my blades from icing up is to keep the heat on low down on the floor and keep my window cracked a bit. This will keep the windshield "frozen" and the snow will just glide off. Also when I park it for the night I have two old socks that I put over the blades to keep them clear of any snow or ice that accumulates overnight. A good coat of Rain-X is also helpful.

You shouldn't have any trouble with 724. If I'm guessing right that is a pre urea truck, it's the first round of SCR truck that had the real problems. I had 716 and that thing ran like a beast. If you're concerned about it, I'm sure Andy could look through the maintenance records and tell you if it's been a lemon or not.

Hey Brian, when you come off of the freeway and head west there will be a KMart on your RHS and you can park there. Don't even bother checking in more than an hour before your appointment because they will tell you to beat it & to come back later. Kinda slow but not a bad place.

Once again, pressed post then another thought popped into my noggin. Don't follow 90 through Wyoming and the southern part of Montana, it'll add about 90 miles to your trip. Go up 83 to Belle Fourche and catch US 212 west. Just west of Broadus, MT you will have to detour north to Miles City then run I 94 west. With the detour it is still shorter than staying on 90. When you hit I94 in Miles City there is a Town Pump Pilot if you need fuel or a shower. Enjoy the ride my friend, it is beautiful.
