Unloaded this morning in Cincinnati.... What a creaking nightmare that place was!!! Parked there inside their lot last night and several employees for the place were moving acouple trucks around and parked next to me and they waved to me as I was doing paperwork...I gave a friendly wave back...thought all was good...after getting into a nice deep sleep I get a knock on the door...guy tells me he can't have me parked on their lot for the night...asked where I could park and was directed to a small dead end street on other side of building...pulled out and took a look on the street...was already 1 truck with trailer and 3 bobtails on that side street so was absolutely no way I could fit...parked across the street from side street and had homeless people banging on my truck ALL NIGHT begging for money....got unloaded this morning and dispatch sent me to Trenton to grab a load that delivers in Buford, GA...customer rescheduled delivery to Monday so dropped that load in Cartersville and received preplan for the weekend...picked up in Dalton, GA that delivers to Shelby, IA. but I'm dropping it at the East St. Louis, IL. drop-lot then picking up at Anheuser-Busch in St. Louis, MO. Sunday afternoon for a delivery in Watertown, WI Monday morning.

 

Sounds like your going thru a rough patch. I'm sure it will get better.

 

talked to my trainer yesterday an it looks like i will be getting picked up Sunday afternoon. been home 3 days now and its done nothen but rain so havent got a whole lot done so looking foward to getting out on the road and start my training.

It rained most of the day Thursday so didn't get much moving done. Cleared up yesterday and got the last of the big stuff moved. The rest is up to mama and the kids. I hauled 7 loads with my utility trailer, that's enough fun for me. Nice and sunny outside this morn but temps have dropped for sure.

 

sounds like u'll be glad to get back on the road. that will be like a vac for u. lol

 

Dropped my load of carpet earlier this afternoon in East St. Louis, IL. And now parked at the Pilot across the street waiting for my beer load to be loaded...called the # to check status and now its says it will be loaded at 8pm tomorrow night...looking like ill be doing some good ole' night trucking tomorrow night

 

I was there a week or so ago with an 10pm load time. I checked several times Sunday and it was actually ready by noon on Sunday. So keep calling the number you will most likely get it earlier!
