Anybody has a Fontaine flatbed trailer? Just wondering how good they are and if there might be something better out there. Just getting some ideas.
Any other recommendations would be great!

I had a 2007 Fontaine Infinity AX 48 ft flat (spread axle) and it was pretty good except for the doors on the toolboxes. I have now switched to a 2010 manac 53ft stepdeck with sliding tandem (canada, ca legal) as I do loads to Canada and really cant do that with the spread. That trailer was a good trailer and is ok for the weight and durability.

I dont know the year of the one your talking about but i had a 92 all steel spread 48/96 and it was a decent trailer. The only complaint i had was it was allways cracking on the front axel cross member. Most likely because i used to load the heck out of it. Would i buy another Fontain? Yes

Thanks guys, we are looking at several options but the Fontaine looked very good. If anybody has any other suggestions that'd be great!

Bought a new Renegade in 2006. They were in high demand then and trailer looks like it was rushed. Poor metal prep before painting, brackets for aluminum crossmembers placed by eyeball not exactly perfect then welded.
Newer ones look better as far as details like that.
It is a good trailer. Probably the best combo out there.
Don't know about that new deck design they have now. -
Does it have to be steel, and what's your price range?
-
We would rather have an all aluminum frame and price range right now could be anything, trying to get ideas and reviews on brands and models.

While the Revolutions are nice, if you are looking for all aluminum, your best INVESTMENT is a Reitnouer. You can run it for 5 years and sell it for 60-70%of what you paid for it. On top of that, you can design that trailer any way you'd like and they'll build it, unlike Fontaine. I have a Fontaine stepdeck now, and am planning on ordering another trailer the beginning of next year. I kind of like the Revolution (plus we get great pricing at Landstar on Fontaine), but need a trailer with 17.5 or 19.5 tires. Fontaine won't do it. Therefore, Reitnouer or Doonan/Chapparal will get my money.

Call Mac, they'll build one with anything you want on it. I priced a B-train and wanted 6 bag air ride and an aluminum stinger, Reitnouer said no way.... Mac said no problem.

Sign on the dotted line!

Yeah I was looking at those on truckpaper. I was hoping to get to GATS and have every trailer manufacturer give me their spiel. I want a triaxle, all aluminum with apitong floor, container locks, 36" or less deck height 51-53 step. I would have done the Revolution aluminum floor if they could have done the other options, but Fontaine was not interested. I've seen one Reitnouer with an apitong floor, and Chapparal will build them all day long. The Mac's are nice looking for sure and in the same ball park price wise, if that price includes FET.
