When I drove for an o/op I was registered on with R.C.ROBINSON (one of the brokers knight uses to book loads with) one of the agents at rc robinson and I became cool friends. The o/op let me book on some loads with the agent at times. This same agent at rc robinson booked on for knight transportition sometimes, he used to tell me how knig trans had to do some serious ### kissing to score on some loads for the extra bonus pay like on time or early delivery, but still payed out the high percentage rc robinson charges. Although rc robinson(broker) never discloses how much is getting sliced off the top, they still lie to knig and still give em low priced heavy loads! And the only $$$$ knig can count on is the crumby on time early delivery bonuses.... But knight seems to forget that the impossability of reason is so real afterall, as in the 46,000lbs load will not be in dallas tx from los angeles ca in 20 hours.. Lol !!

um...exactly where in oregon are you going that is 750 miles from point a to point b?

Secondly....this is MY industry...ALL of it...GTFO! that's right....no room for crybabies who will whine because they overslept or would rather hold a playstation controller than a steering wheel.....

LOOK guy...I'm going to be blunt and brutal...ly honest here. In this industry we only have ONE thing to offer the customer and our employer...SERVICE...NO...NOT lip service...but dedicated have your ### up 10 hours after you lay down, hit it hard, get it done RIGHT...and SAFELY service and frankly it's jackwagons like you who JACK it up for the REST of us....for EVERY load at EVERY company that is delivered late because some pencil knecked geek that don't know a fifth wheel from a spare tire thinks they are being worked too hard in what they thought was going to be a JOB can't get it there on time and safely causes freight rates...INDUSTRY WIDE...to gradually decrease...get a 9 to 5 Dolly. Tissue? You touch my tissue and I'll pepper spray you....sicko.... THIS ISN'T A JOB...IT'S A WAY OF LIFE....LOVE IT...OR GET THE HELL OUT OF IT...

Is KNIGHT bad?....is a fat guy on a nude beach with a rubber duckie flotation device hanging below his hips bad?....pic not needed...but I DO have one.

I'm going to put it plain and simple.....ONE late load is perfectly understandable....but you yourself said MULTIPLE...meaning MORE than one time.....I'd verbally abuse you too....I'd probably run you off the yard with a tire iron for that matter...FREIGHT rates go down...SALES COMMISSIONS go down...COMMISSIONS go down...BONUSES go down...BONUSES go down...wife forgets what that term means....it's a horrible chain of events that people who DON'T need to be behind the wheel set in motion....GET...A....JOB...YOU...ARE....CUT....OUT....FOR...because CLEARLY trucking is NOT it. /rant off

Okay on a more serious note....HAVE the God given common sense to TURN THE LOAD DOWN if it's not enough time to get there...and then BEG them to fire you for it...soon as they do you get a lawyer...lawyer gets in touch with FMCSA and KNIGHT becomes under new ownership most likely....it's THAT simple..and THAT'S why I said what I said in the post above this one. USE...YOUR BRAIN....I'm aware of KNIGHT's schemes and ploys... It's due to a rampant age old mentality..."I'm a driver so it's US against the dispatchers"..."I'm a dispatcher..it's me against the drivers!" "I'm a planner and I have a corner office so screw you BOTH!". I'm FULLY aware...but a scam on their part don't constitute a "I MUST go to work for them" on YOURS....goes right back to 3 simple words...USE...YOUR...BRAIN.

Yea, here's the difference, my issue was corrected at jb, still making $$$$(twice as much as knig) and jb still has one more cdl driver pulling their freight.knit does not! Matter of fact, when I was at orientation with knit, I remember, there was only 3 other guys applying for a job there...one left orientation, one got cut for being an ex-felon, and the two of us that made it no longer work there. I keep in touch with everyone that I meet (drivers) and I know of about 12 drivers that have quit knight due to poor salary average, and other issues. Jb has paid me about $2,000 just by referring friends of mine into the company. I met a knight driver in portalnd oregon at a pilot that was very upset with his dispatcher. He asked me who I ran with I told them I ran with jb hunt he asked about the benefits. long story short he will be starting orientation next monday..

Ive had several loads that were origionally dispatched onto my qualcomm stating "this load must deliver on or before" after letting dispatch know I did not have enough hours to cover the run and informing them I would not run the load illegally, I was put on hold for the next day or so. This happened quite frequently actually.

Less noted is the fact that there was another vehile that created the whole incident and caused the car driver to crawl out into an open lane. Bad situation all the way around.

Something like this happened when I was with Metropolitan; one of our trucks was stopped in a traffic jam just south of Petersburg Va. on I-95. There was van full of family members stopped right on his bumper. Another truck coming down 95 did not notice the traffic was actually stopped and plowed the 4-wheel van right into our Metropolitan trailer killing all 5 people in the van. Needless, to say, relatives were able to bring suit not only on the truck that hit the van, but also on Metropolitan under Virgina law. It cost Metropolitan's insurance company 3 million and our truck was just sitting there in stopped traffic and had nowhere to go. So, you can be sitting somewhere doing nothing in the right, not even moving, and the next minute your in a law suit.
