I had a Swift driver back into me tonight at the Alamo. He hit me pretty hard and even though the damage to my (brand-new) trailer was minor, he refused to exchange info with me. Cops refused to come out and take a report because it happened on Private Property. I called Swift in Phoenix who told me that they were "self insured" even though I stated the ONLY reason I wanted HIS info was to protect myself from being "blamed" for the damage by MY company.

So, I took pictures of his ugly, non-english speaking mug and I am going to email them to my boss tommorow.

Is it any wonder they are "Self-Insured"....

Probably because no Insurance Carrier would insure them.

Huh? Most Major Companies are Self-Insured because they got so many trucks out there and they save money by switching to them self since they can afford that.

At least that what I think...

I wouldn't be caught dead in a Prime truck.
