You could always put in an application at Hendrickson Trucking out of Sacramento, CA. They hire anybody over there.

Well I dont know you, so, Ill give you the benifit of the dout, although It does sound a bit stretched, but try a school not with a trucking company, you can always, get your CDL permit on your own, Dont know If you know anyone with a truck and trailer that will help you learn, but It's a thought

Then you'll probably have to see a s.a.p. and go through the return to duty process.

I don't know how old you are, but if you are in your 20's, I would almost consider joining the military (after you can pee clean), and put in some time there, get a career going and put everything on hold for a few years.

It would be the best way to wipe the slate clean.

That's about the best advice I seen here SmoothShifter. Not only will the military give you a bright future financially, it will make a man out of you and give you good attributes that stick with you for life.

Alright Joe, some real advice..... find out what you have first, pull your DAC ( free once a year ) and check all the boxes. Run the NCIC and local all the way around........ is it clear? Get your CDL on you own by renting a truck and apply elsewhere. ( if you don't have it yet)

On the gal ? ( git a rope ) move on, put it behind you, her too.

    Good story and good luck.

No, not in the slightest. My son has been in a similar situation, but not with drugs. This new generation of "women" are very vindictive and very me oriented. The word DIVA doesn't even begin to describe their attitude. :biggrin_25513:
