U.S. Xpress Strikes Again!!

Something just does not add up here. Company trucks are governed at 65 and all lease trucks are set at 70 mph. I know you said you were on the phone with this guy but somebody here seems to have an agenda.

 

I was just speaking to a recruiter about joining US Xpress from Werner. My fleet mgr pretty much told me in order to make $ I'll have to team up. I think big companies in order to keep their profit margin r going to start forcing teaming. Start giving us solo drivers crappy, short loads so we'll quit. It's so wrong how they control our lives, like we're puppets. good luck to u.

sounds like a BS story to me... us xpress has never had 62 mph trucks in the last 8 years, the slowest truck i have ever had at us xpress was 65 mph, had a 68 mph before fuel went up 2 years ago and a 71 mph before that.

right now ALL us xpress trucks are set at 65 mph, lease and O/O are set at 70

 

Good morning everybody. I'm a student with Werner and one day a trucker from us express said to me come work for us, we will start you at .38 mile. Of course that sounds great but I really do have a home here at Werner. No later than 15 January I will have my own truck. It is not always greener on the other side.

US Express is throwing tons of money into ads around the Dayton, Ohio geared at this new approach, which will fail might I ad. Just another newbie crap company, crap runs, crap pay.
