HAH! It's the Internet, bro. Once written, nothing ever disappears! They can blame price increases on you.

Not sure how it works in your state, But here you have to fill out an online app. and then get an app. to have your finger prints taken and then if you clear pay an $89 fee, Then go to your local DMV and take the test.

    Try this link https://hazprints.tsa.dhs.gov/Public/

Glad my verbose post helped. Again, the test is easy as pie but really bone up on air brakes. The DMV or DPS office takes either cash or credit. If I can do it so can a cave man.

    Ms.Jesse Thanks this.

The cost was $35.00. I believe the DOT requires a physical prior to taking the CDL Learners Permit no matter what state one lives in. If you go to a doc in the box please take the DOT Physical Long Form with you. You can find the form by doing a search the Internet. My doc already had the DOT physical form but I made sure before I made my appointment. Oh yeah, my health insurance paid for the physical.

The physical is not a comprehensive review but rather a cursory review of your past and current medical history, vision, hearing, urinalysis to test for diabetes, bending, and chest, neck and abdomen auscultation. The cost was low because it's not a full head to toe examination.
