In Dexter, MI at the Pilot across from the TA. Gonna 34 hour here so have all the great accommodations of Pilot and TA to keep me busy.

Thought about doing it in Gary.... Decided that I would rather pluck my eyeballs out than stay there.

 

In Montgomery Alabama at the TA, the lot lizzards are walking around here in the daylight... You got to love it, and I am parked close to the building. Oh well, when my break is up I am outta here.

Nope, I don't want what they are selling. Don't need to take that kind of gift home to my wife. I try to avoid the lot lizzards, I don't even like them to climb up on my truck...

 

Dropped in L'anse and picked up there, sitting in Iron mountian on a ten then Appleton for repairs Sunday, fuel in Gary Monday and off to West Virginia

 

West Virginia should be nice this time of year. The leaves should still be on down there. I always liked running up and down US 19 and over the new river. That bridge is really cool.

 

Sitting in Gary at the terminal waiting on maintance to fix the oil leak on this blue turd. puking a galon of oil every 2 - 3 days.

 

That is one of my favorite runs!!!! Minus the mountains before it on 79. lol

 

I'm at the Wilco in Great Falls South Carolina now... Deliver up the road a few miles in the morning. Home this weekend, I'm ready to get the rest of my truck stuff.

 

At home, playing army...found out this weekend I won't be playing army for very much longer...I had a knee injury and surgery...and I find that sometimes it still achy...and arthritic...so the army is giving me an early retirement...so that's awesome...i have been in 15 years, plus active duty time...I am looking at a full retriement check when I am 60...so not too shabby for me... I leave out monday morning...first load already preplaned..have a short haul from the drop yard to the cons...then who knows..
